Barbara Daly & L'Oreal @ Amanda Wakeley
“They’re like French women,” said makeup artist Sharon Dowsett, who was working with Barbara Daly. “Her makeup is effortless, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t make an effort. She gets facials and has her hair and eyebrows done.” “It’s understated, chic and very effortless,” hairstylist Malcolm Edwards said, adding Charlotte Rampling and Jane Birkin were also among his references. “It’s very luxurious with gorgeous texture.”

Dowsett used Barbara Daly Face Lift Foundation to create a perfect complexion and Soufflé blush in Glow on cheeks and lips. She finished the look with Barbara Daly High Impact Mascara on lashes.
Malcolm Edwards, who was working with L'Oréal Professionnel, was also inspired by Gallic beauty. Edwards worked L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni.art Hot Style Constructor into hair to start. (For fine hair, he also used L'Oréal Professionnel Play Ball Texture Tonic.) He tonged the roots and mid lengths of the hair to create movement. The look was finished with a spritz of shine spray.
