LFW S/S '10: No7 @ Todd Lynn

No7 @ Todd Lynn
No7 Creative Director and celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge explains ;The look Todd and I have created has a very earthy and matt feel with splashes of modern shiny and luminous textures smudged around the eyes to give depth and intensity. I’ve finished the eyes with a light touch of No7 Extravagant Lashes Mascara and smudgy kohl using No7’s Amazing Eyes Pencil. Each model for Todd’s show has taken on a different character to ensure that there is no one uniform look. Some girls have very strong and pronounced eyebrows which I’ve created using the No7 Precision Brow Pencil, whilst others are bleached out completely.

Taking the desert as my inspiration, I’ve given the models sun bleached beautiful skin using a natural base of No7 Stay Perfect Foundation, which has been powdered, contoured and defined with light tawny taupes. A touch of the new No7 Limited Edition Spring 2010 Highlighter has been used at the highest point of the cheekbones to emphasise contours further and gives a slightly futuristic feel. A few models had dabs of matt earthy white clay around their eyes and forehead. The overall effect is a very polished, minimalist look with an edgy, modern twist.
