Italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti will launch her debut fragrance under arrangements with Elizabeth Arden (prior fragrances under the Alberta Ferretti brand name, made with Procter & Gamble among others, are now discontinued). Alberta Ferretti by Alberta Ferretti will launch in September, but will not reach the US until the spring of 2010.According to Ferretti, “I wanted to transfer my world into the fragrance, so that it would have a very precise identity and be highly recognizable”. The resulting scent was developed by perfumer Sophie Labbé and features notes of freesia, pink pepper, bergamot, sweet pea, ylang-ylang, Casablanca lily, patchouli and golden amber.
Alberta Ferretti by Alberta Ferretti will be available in 75 ml Eau de Toilette, 30 or 75 ml Eau de Parfum.
