FW AW10: Tigi @ Jill Stuart

Tigi @ Jill Stuart
"The hair looks a little danced-out, like she just left a club at 4am" said hair stylist Bob Recine. "There's a messy nonchalance, but the key to the look is confidence." Charlotte Tilbury found inspiration from Brigitte Bardot in creating the makeup.

GET THE LOOK
The focus was a slightly elongated cat eye, with black pencil on top and bottom lids extending out to the end of the eyebrow. Lots of black mascara added to the eye emphasis, as did subtle false eyelashes. Cheeks were contoured, and a pinkish nude lip liner and lipstick finished the look. Nails were coloured with two coats of opaque peach Deborah Lippmann Collection Nail Polish in I'm Not Innocent.

“It’s a very rock ’n’ roll look,” said Recine, who credited Tigi’s Catwalk Spray Mousse as the cornerstone of the look. He sprayed hair with the product, then teased hair at the roots and ran his hands through it for a bed-head look. He used a wide barrel curling iron to haphazardly curl the ends.
