As its name suggests, the lipstick is presented in gold-coloured packaging, which incorporates updated elements of the brand’s iconic “Clef de Coquette” design, which was created in 1951 by Armand Petitjean.
The case features an innovative metallic closure system, complete with four micro-magnets, to deliver that all-important closing “click”. The stick itself can be eased up from and back into its base in one simple movement.
The lipstick formula is enriched with Pro-Xylane, which helps reshape and restructure lip tissue, according to Lancôme. Other key ingredients include a Moisture Locker Complex, to preserve lips’ natural hydration, Ceramide 5 to reinforce the barrier function of cells, and an anti-feathering agent to prevent colour from running.
L’Absolu Rouge Gold Edition is available in six shades, each complete with an SPF12.
