Annick Goutal will release a new adaptation of the original Mandragore (2005) in August 2009 called Mandragore Pourpre (Purple Mandrake):
The unisex Eau de Toilette is supposed to bring out further the dark and mystical aspects of mandrake root, a plant which to this day has kept a magic-medieval-potion connotation in people's imagination. Notes are: bergamot, mint, star anis, amber, rosemary, geranium, black pepper, patchouli leaf, myrtle, incense and heliotrope.
Mandragore Pourpre will be available in a 100-ml. square bottle priced in the United Kingdom at 59 pounds, or $95 at current exchange, or in a more feminine ribbed 100-ml. flacon for 71 pounds, or $114.
