WELLA @ Cynthia Rowley
A tribe of tough-but-cute young things descended upon the Cynthia Rowley show with a calling card of fringey eyelashes and brightly colored crimped ponytails. Each model got two sets of real-hair false eyelashes, which where painstakingly straightened with a straightening iron to undo the curl.
“I used the straight additives from Wella Professionals Koleston Perfect Special Mix,” Scrivo explained, pointing out that permanent, rich jewel-tone colors make the whole idea of streaks more whimsical and feminine, less punk. “Women are experimenting more, and you don’t have to do a head full of extensions to make an impact,” she said.

Eva Scrivo used Wella hair color to custom color extensions that replicate the rich, artificial jewel tones of the collection, such as emerald, amethyst, lapis, bright turquoise, and navy.
-Prep hair with Ultimation hair spray.
-Create texture within each section by using a combination of a curling iron and crimping iron for -non-uniform waviness.
-Place colored and crimped hair pieces within sections of the natural hair. Pull the hair back into a soft ponytail at the nape of the neck and allow the streaks of color to show through for added dimension.
