Lancome's New Serie for Ladies at Their 50s!

Lancôme has extended its Absolue treatment franchise with a new line, called Absolue Precious Cells. The full range comprises a day cream, a night cream and an eye cream. All three products have been specifically designed to address the skincare needs of women in their 50s.

As its name suggests, the Absolue Precious Cells range harnesses stem cell research (stem cells are so called because they have the ability to become all other cell types). It is Lancôme’s first skincare product to trigger the skin’s innate regenerative potential by acting on the environment surrounding these adult stem cells.

The formula also contains a Basal-Reconstruction System with Pro-Xylane (a compound which helps to reconstruct the skin’s matrix). According to the brand, it helps to visibly reduce signs of ageing, revealing denser, regenerated, more radiant skin, with even the most pronounced wrinkles reduced.

The textures are described as rich yet fine, which are both light and comforting for the skin. In addition, Absolue Precious Cells Advanced Regenerating and Replenishing Cream contains an SPF15 for UVA and UVB protection.
