Next up from Bond no. 9 will be Astor Place, the latest in their series of fragrances celebrating New York City neighborhoods. The new scent was inspired by Tony Rosenthal's "Alamo", a rotating sculpture at the corner of Lafayette Street and 8th Street known locally as the "Astor Place Cube".
While their last fragrance, Brooklyn, was described as "unisex with a desirably masculine attitude", Astor Place is pegged as a "unisex fragrance with a feminine tendency". Astor Place includes violet leaf, mandarin zest, freesia, red poppy buds, iris root, teakwood, musk and amber.
Bond no. 9 Astor Place will launch in April, and will be available in 50 ($145) and 100 ml ($220) Eau de Parfum, or in a 100 ml limited edition bottle with Swarovski crystals ($300).
