Lead hair stylist John Ruidant of Redken was keeping a natural, playful look on the models. "Our inspiration is the 1950s - deep side parts, clean, long natural hair and loose waves," he said. "I wanted to follow the natural hairline and work with it."
John used Redken's 22 spray on freshly-blown-dry hair with a 1 ½ curling iron, wrapping vertical sections of the hair around, then securing with a clip to cool. He then pulled the crown of the hair back - dragging it to give a cute little bump at the top, letting the curls cascade down, and / or tuck the front section behind the ear. John finished with his favorite product - Redken Hotset. "It really holds, even if I saturate the hair with it, and it never gets flaky or too crunchy."
The final look is soft, sexy and feminine, with a saucy and adventurous air.
