Lancome Hypnose Drama

Lancôme has updated its Hypnôse mascara, introduced in 2004, with a new version, called Hypnôse Drama. The product now incorporates an oversized brush which delivers an “all-new, show-stopping lash performance,” according to the brand. Together with the lash-coating formula, the curved wand is said to deliver expressive eyes and outstanding, customisable lash volume.

Hypnôse Drama is available in a black ink formula, which is claimed to glide along each lash, instantly coating and amplifying from root to tip. It features intensely concentrated pigments for a deep, pure black look. The new, oversized brush sports a convex twist designed to reach all the way to the base of the lashes. A combination of short and long bristles aims to reach and sculpt each and every lash.

Hypnôse Drama is presented in a reinterpretation of the original cylinder packaging, with more rounded, voluptuous lines. The advertising visual features Daria Werbowy, and was shot by Nick Knight.

Twiggy is the new Face of OLAY!

Twiggy has been named the new face of Olay, almost 25 years since she first worked with the brand back in 1985. The iconic supermodel will be the face of the anti-ageing line, Olay Definity, for a year. “We were thrilled to welcome Twiggy back to the brand,” said Sarah Clark, spokesman for Olay Definity. “She is a true beauty icon who continues to be an inspiration to millions of women across the U.K.” Karan Kapoor, a Bollywood actor turned photographer captured Twiggy on her return to the brand.

Majolica Majorca will release its fall 2009 makeup collection on July 21st in Japan. The collection includes:

The collection consists mostly of revamped items, including Perfect Automatic Liner, Honey Pump Lip Essence and Honey Pump Gloss Neo. Perfect Automatic Liner is a smudge-proof liquid eyeliner available in 7 shades. All the shades are black-based with pearl pigments except for BK999, which is a matte jet black.
